February wines of the month:
Spring hasn’t arrived yet and the season still lends itself to ripe, rich, warming wines.
So we’re heading down south for our February recommendations, namely Australia and New Zealand.
Dandelion Vineyards, Barossa Valley A smooth and supple award winning Australian Shiraz - full bodied with robust lip smacking black fruit flavours.
Greywacke Chardonnay - a wonderful wine from this amazing New Zealand vineyard - rich and generous - think brioche and roasted nuts.
Valentine’s Day - (Feb 14th in case you need reminding!) - impress with a fantastic but often overlooked sparkling wine - Cremant de Bourgogne from Louis Bouillot - made with Pinot Noir & Gamay grapes in an elegant, eye catching bottle.
